On 14th-16th April 2011, just after BAMC 2011, the nearby University of Warwick (Coventry, CV4 7AL) hosted Young Researchers in Mathematics, for PhD students and early-career postdocs.

 

BAMC Young Researchers' Event

BAMC 2011 hosted a Young Researchers' Event, for PhD students, postdocs, research fellows and new lecturers. The event took place on Monday 11th April from 7.45pm, in the Mathematics Learning Centre (University of Birmingham, Watson Building). The event included talks from Professor John Ockendon, Professor Sigurdur Thoroddsen and Dr Jeremy Marston, and musical entertainment.
